Registration Begins on Oct. 18, 2025 through Dec. 15, 2025 for TnWS Members.
Sterling Edwards, our juror and judge for the 2026 exhibition, will hold the 4-day workshop in May 2026 as part of the TnWS Biennial Exhibition. Sterling is an internationally recognized artist, author, and instructor—Sterling Edwards, TWSA, NWS, CSPWC, WPA. His work has been accepted in many acclaimed venues and most recently selected to join the Royal Collection Trust of King Charles III. His was one of twenty-five paintings selected in a special international watercolor competition hosted by the Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour in celebration of their 100th Anniversary. These paintings will be housed in Windsor Castle.

WORKSHOP DETAIL
Sterling Edwards will teach a workshop from Tuesday, May 12th through Friday, May 15th, 2026. The theme of the workshop is “Expressive Watercolors.” In this workshop, Sterling will be exploring an expressive style of painting where the artist takes artistic license to embellish the form and movement of a subject and uses colors that the artist likes as opposed to the local color. The intent is to create a totally unique piece of art that reflects the artist’s unique voice and creative mind.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
We understand that emergencies can happen and urge you to find another artist* to take your place so you may receive a full refund. Cancellations within 2 weeks of the workshop with no replacement will result in a loss of fees paid.
*We maintain a waiting list from which you could be selected as a replacement.
