Exhibiting Artist juried into the 16th Annual Lipscomb Academy Art Event

Open to the Public….Admission is free
This Art Event is Lipscomb Academy’s major fundraiser that features more than 70 participating artists, with 30 percent of each art sale benefiting the school. Artists include established and new artists selected from nearly 130 applicants, as well as talented Lipscomb students. In addition to the art show, there is a silent auction of pieces donated by participating artists, with proceeds from the auction going directly to the Fine Arts Programs at Lipscomb Academy. Fine Arts is a key part of the student experience at Lipscomb Academy, and support from the Art Event ensures that our students will have the resources needed to hone their talents.

Location: Journey’s Eye Studio at 131 Franklin St. in Historic Downtown Clarksville.
This is an exhibit that has been in the making for several years and is entitled “Earthmothers and Goddesses”. It opens on May 7, in conjunction with the First Thursday Art Walk, with a reception from 5PM to 8PM, with an undetermined length of show time.
Patsy Sharpe: Month of July (Reception July 2)
Location: Roxy Regional Theatre at 100 Franklin St., Historic Downtown Clarksville
Reception held in conjunction with the first Thursday Art Walk on July 2. This exhibit relates to the play showing in the Roxy Theatre at that time: “The Importance of Being Ernest”, which will feature landscapes, ladies’ portraits and florals, as well as two still-life paintings that relate to the Victorian theme.
