Jan Batts’ Bio
Jan is a native Tennessean. She studied art at Memphis State University and continues to study under prominent artists throughout the country and abroad. Jan is an award-winning artist who has been painting professionally for over 14 years. She participates in creative art groups, and is Past President of the Tennessee Art League and Tennessee Watercolor Society. She is a signature member of the Central South Art Exhibition. She is also a member of the Hilton Head Art League and the Nashville Artist Guild where she currently holds the position of 1st Vice President. She enjoys facilitating art salons for other artists, and teaches art for HAPI (Healing Arts Project for Mental Health). Jan owns her own business, Batts Beaux-arts, which promotes the visual arts.
