Amanda Farris' Bio
Amanda Farris had wanted to be an artist ever since she could remember.
While studying watercolor in college, she was intrigued and captivated by the flow and excitement of the medium. For her, it has been watercolor ever since. She has studied with several nationally known watermedia painters, most recently Sandra Painter Washburn and Anne Bagby and George James.
Experimental watermedia has taken her interest. Acrylics have a wide supply of new gels, mediums and colors to use with watercolor pencils, crayons, gouache and collage.
Amanda is a member of the Tennessee Watercolor Society and a signature member of both Southwestern Watercolor Society and the Texas Visual Art Association.
